Clip descriptions

Claude API key
Status

Every new motion clip is described by Claude in a sentence or two and sent to your phone. Create a key at platform.claude.com; each clip uses a few thousand tokens, billed to your own Anthropic account. The key is checked with Anthropic, then stored encrypted.

Familiar faces

Clip descriptions use the names of people you add here, when their face is clearly visible in daylight. Recognition runs on this server; Claude only gets the name. To add someone, open a clip and tap Who's in this clip?, or use a photo. Each person is kept as an encrypted face template; delete them to erase it. Turning this off stops recognition and keeps the people you added.

Signing out keeps phone notifications coming. Deleting stops them, forgets your Blink sign-in, and erases your clips, descriptions and settings from this server. Your Blink account itself isn't affected.
